I ordered the DeRosa drum set. I received a Huntington drum set - with no explanation and NO INSTRUCTIONS. The drum set seems fine, but how would I know? I've never put one together before, and with no instructions I have no way of knowing if I did it right. I would never buy from this company again. Lesson learned.

We purchased this for our 4 year old granddaughter. My husband is a professional drummer, so a toy drum set would not do. These drums are well built. They will last for years. If you are looking for more than just a toy that will break in a couple of months...get this set...it will last you until you are giving it to their children. It comes with a real chain driven bass drum foot pedal, and the hardware is all heavy duty.

I purchased this drum set in the spring for my nephew's Christmas present (I'm an early shopper). I haven't put the drum set together - that's for my sister-in-law to do, but I can't say enough positive things about the customer service. We misplaced the instruction manual so I sent an email requesting a copy either by email or snail mail. I recieved a response with a link to a pdf file for the instructions in less than 12 hours!!! I wish there was more quality customer service out there! I have to say that I purchased this drum set based on the other written reviews and I'm glad I did!

I purchased the blue set for our 4 year old son for Christmas. The set arrived sooner than expected and was easy to assemble. I was very pleased with the quality and sound of the set. It was worth the extra money to purchase a true instrument as this than the cheap, poorly-crafted sets at the major toy store chains I researched. Our son loves to play on them and definitely doesn't hold back on hitting them and there are no signs of wear. Due to an unfortunate accident the cymbal arm was broken (not by normal use) and needed to be replaced. I called Vintage Drum Center and actual spoke to a live person; the owner none-the-less! (how often does that happen now?!)and explained what happened. Without hesitation he offered to ship out a new cymbal arm at no cost and apologized for the inconvenience (excellent customer service..take note major chains). The owner even did a follow-up call to give me the Fed Ex tracking number and offered any further assistance if needed. If our son continues to play and becomes more interested in the drums, I will definitely purchase his next set from Vintage Drum Center.

I purchased the drum set in blue for my grandson for Christmas.
I was pleasantly surprised when it arrived so soon. It is made out of real wood and has chrome hardware. It looks like a professional drum set.
I even received a call from their customer service department to make sure I had received the drum set and if I was pleased with it.
Very pleased, I must say.
